ABOUT YOUR FUTURE TEAM

We leverage open source technologies to build a complete big data solution available for private cloud deployments. We collect raw data, transform and enrich information to converge into a searchable knowledge graph, our technical stack is diverse and relies on the java open source ecosystem: Spring Cloud, Elasticsearch, Neo4J, Kafka, Zookeeper, Docker, etc.
We are looking for developers with experience in building search/graph engines, data intensive applications, and/or real time analytic. If you are interested in joining a distributed team of passionate developers, we look forward to meeting you!

JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Backend Software Engineer in Platform team, you will specialize in building highly scalable technology for our big-data platform:

• Collaborate with Product management and other engineers to help define, scope and implement high quality features for our graph/search platform.
• Communicate with your teammates directly, asynchronously and through agile ceremonies.
• Produce clean tested code and review the PRs from your teammates.
• Document your work with architecture schemas, API specifications, javadoc and tests.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

• Proficiency in java, preferably java 11 or 17.
• 3+ years of experience building backend services for data-intensive applications.
• 1+ year of experience with noSQL databases and event streaming.
• Good understanding of modern software architectures.
• Great oral and written communication in English.
• Pragmatic and Proactive approach to problems.
• Experience with Elasticsearch, Neo4J or Kafka is a plus.
• Experience as Scrum Master is a plus.
